Hi, I'm Michael A. Spikes

I am a researcher and practitioner in the field of news media literacy. I provide training to teachers, school leaders, and institutions on how to improve their critical thinking skills toward finding credible and reliable information sources in online media ecosystems. I study how news media literacy and associated 21st century literacies are currently being taught to students of all ages. I also help others to create media as an audio and video producer and (very sparingly) webmaster.
